Tails on the Trail: Exploring the Yarra Valley with Your Dog
Planning a dog friendly Yarra Valley escape? From pet friendly wineries to dog-loving cafes, this region is perfect for four-legged adventures. After a day out, unwind at our pet friendly B&B in the Yarra Valley, where dogs, cats, and other gentle pets are welcome. We’ve even hosted a rabbit on one occasion! The entire yard is fully fenced—giving your pets the freedom to play and you peace of mind.
Let me share a few personal recommendations of mine. Delightful spots and activities for you and your dog, that I believe truly capture the authentic spirit of our valley.

Visit dog friendly wineries in the Yarra Valley like Rob Dolan and De Bortoli, where pets are welcome outside. The Punt Road Winery hosts a pet friendly market on the third Sunday each month—dogs on leads are welcome. Enjoy brunch with your pup at dog friendly cafes like Incy Wincy and The General Food Store. Take in views and a coffee at SkyHigh Mt Dandenong, with a pet friendly café at the summit. In Healesville, Beechworth Bakery and My Little Kitchen have outdoor seating for dogs. Stroll the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail and stop at Carriage Café Seville—dine inside a historic train carriage. The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery has outdoor seating, dog friendly treats, and room for pets to roam.
