Three of the birds you’ll see and hear all the time at the farmstay are cockatoos, magpies, and crimson rosellas. The cockatoos are hard to miss—they’re loud, cheeky, and love to make a racket just after sunrise. Magpies chime in with their beautiful, warbling song that somehow manages to be both calming and uplifting. And then there are the tame King Parrots, with their bright red feathers flitting through the trees and a softer, more gentle chatter. Together, they make mornings here feel full of life and colour—nature’s version of an alarm clock.

Another three of our regular feathered visitors at the farmstay are honeyeaters, baby crimson rosellas, and the beautiful eastern rosella. The honeyeaters are busy little birds, always flitting about and dipping into flowers with their quick, darting movements and sweet calls. You might spot baby crimson rosellas close to their parents, still a bit scruffy as they grow into those vivid red and blue feathers. And then there’s the stunning eastern rosella, with its rainbow plumage and clear, melodic whistles echoing through the trees. All up, they make mornings here feel easy, cheerful, and a bit magical – like they’re saying, “Hey, time to get up!”
